The adventurous Headhunters' Trails is a backdoor route from Mulu to Limbang or vice versa and the history named after the Kayan tribe war parties dragged their canoes overland for 3 km to Sungai Terikan from Melinau Gorge to raid people of Limbang region. The trek is combining upriver travel, jungle trekking and an overnight stay at an Iban longhouse.

DAY 1 (L / D)
Mulu | Arrival
Upon arrival at Mulu Airport. Meet and Greet with our representatives and transfer by longboat to Batu Bungan - a Penan Settlement; observe the original lifestyle of Penan and handicraft on display. Picnic lunch at Clearwater Summer Huts. Then, we proceed our adventure by longboat to Long Litut, jungle treks for 3 hours to Camp 5. Dinner and overnight at Camp 5.
DAY 2 (B / L / D)
The Trails
Breakfast at Camp 5 and walk through lowland forest to Terikan River (Pack Lunch), then, by longboat down the Terikan and Medalam river to Longhouse. Dinner and overnight at longhouse.
DAY 3 (B)
Limbang | Departure
Breakfast at longhouse. After breakfast, transfer by longboat down the river to Nanga Medamit, then, by road down to Limbang town of Sarawak. Afternoon, transfer to Limbang Airport for flight back to Miri or next destination.
