Gunung Gading National Park has a very special star attraction - the Rafflesia, the world’s largest flower - and the park is one of the best places in Asia to view the Rafflesia’s spectacular bloom. There are thought to be 17 species of Rafflesia. Only one species, Rafflesia Tuan-Mudae, is found at Gunung Gading.

ITINERARY:

KUCHING DEPARTURE

0900 AM: Pick up from Hotel and depart overland for Gunung Gading National Park. The journey will take about 2 hours with few stop along the way passing paddy fields, pepper plantations, farms, roadside village and tropical jungles. Stop at the small town of Lundu to have Local Lunch and visit the local market and learn about the many variety of local vegetables, fruits, herbs and jungle products sold by the local's. Then, we proceed to visit Gunung Gading National Park. Upon arrival at the park, proceed for a jungle trekking along the plank walk in search of a Rafflesia tuan-mudae. Then, we continue to drive to Pandan Beach to relax and swimming and enjoy your beach activities.
