East Malaysia Circuit

East Malaysia Circuit will bring you to discover the state of Sarawak and Sabah. Your arrival will be in Kuching and departure through Kota Kinabalu or vice versa. You will be visiting Kuching (A), Sri Aman - Batang Ai (B), Miri (C), Mulu National Park (D) and Kota Kinabalu (E).

RECOMMENDED 9D / 8N ITINERARY:

A. KUCHING ( 2 NIGHTS)

Kuching is the state capital of Sarawak. The distance overland to Batang Ai about 3 hours' journey and no air services available.

B. SRI AMAN - BATANG AI (1 NIGHT)

Batang Ai is well famous with its' Batang Ai Dam; there is an accommodation managed by Hilton, the Batang Ai Resort. Nearby Iban Longhouses and Batang Ai National Park is a wonder that you must visit.

C. MIRI RESORT CITY (1 NIGHT)

Miri, known also as Oil Town. The first oil well in Malaysia is founded here and weekend gateway for Bruneian. The distance almost 850 km from Kuching (about 12 - 14 hours overland) and 1 hour 55 minutes (domestic flight)

D. MULU NATIONAL PARK (2 NIGHTS)

Mulu National Park is popular with its 4 showcaves; Sarawak Chamber is the largest known natural cave chamber in the world by area.  Malaysian Airlines ( MASwings ) operates scheduled services from Miri, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu to Mulu using 72 seater ATR72 aircraft. From Miri, domestic flight is only 30 minutes to Mulu.

E. KOTA KINABALU (2 NIGHTS)

Kota Kinabalu is the state capital for Sabah. Kota Kinabalu is receiving more direct flight from Kuching, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and other international destinations. From Miri to Kota Kinabalu only takes you 50 minutes by flight and 1 day overland from Miri bypassing Brunei to Lawas and Sindumin of Sabah before reaching Kota Kinabalu.
